About NinjaFunction

Build fast, privacy-respecting utility tools that anyone can use without signing up. Most tools on NinjaFunction run entirely in your browser.

• No uploads for most tools — text, files and images you use are processed on your own device. The few tools that need an outside service, such as IP lookup, say so and are listed in our Privacy Policy.
• No accounts — every tool is free and available instantly. No email, no login, no paywall.
• Nothing you enter is logged — we don't record what you type or generate inside a tool.
• No bloat — lightweight pages that load fast even on slow connections.

Most "free online tools" out there are neither free nor private. They bury the tool behind popups, force you to sign up, upload your files to unknown servers when there is no need to. We got tired of it — so we built the alternative.

NinjaFunction uses modern browser APIs like the Web Crypto API, Canvas, and WebAssembly to do the work locally wherever it can. The site is paid for by ads, so the tools stay free without a sign-up or a paywall.

Most tools on NinjaFunction are built on the same principle: your data stays on your device. When you generate a hash, create a password, or format JSON, all the work happens in your browser's JavaScript engine and nothing you enter is sent to our servers. You can check this by opening the page and then disconnecting from the internet — these tools keep working. A few tools, such as IP lookup and the map features, need an outside service to work; our Privacy Policy lists them and what they send.

NinjaFunction is built and maintained by Shahid Raza, a developer based in India who uses these tools daily in their own work. NinjaFunction started as the set of tools Shahid wished already existed — fast, private, browser-based, with no sign-up walls. Suggestions and feedback from users directly shape what gets built next. Because most tools run locally, there is very little data for us to protect — and that's exactly how we like it. We use Google Analytics for basic site statistics (page views, browser types) and Google AdSense to show ads, which can use cookies. You can choose non-personalised ads on the cookie banner.
