JSON Formatter
Format, validate, and minify JSON data and download.
JSON, Base64 and mock data utilities
Data tools help developers read, convert and create the data their applications depend on. Instead of writing a quick script every time, you can paste your input and get a clean result in seconds.
Use the JSON Formatter to make API responses readable and find syntax errors, and the Base64 Encoder/Decoder to convert text, images and PDF files to and from Base64. The Mock Data Generator creates realistic test data such as names, emails, addresses and prices for demos and testing. The Code Formatter & Beautifier tidies messy code, and the GitHub Downloader lets you download a single folder from a GitHub repository as a ZIP file without cloning the whole project.

A powerful online code formatter that supports multiple programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, YAML, and Markdown. Simply paste your code or upload a file, select your language, and get beautifully formatted code instantly.
NinjaFunction's GitHub Directory Downloader allows you to grab single folders and subdirectories directly from any public or private GitHub repository without running git clone or sparse-checkout commands. The tool runs completely inside your browser using the GitHub Trees API and client-side ZIP compression, saving bandwidth and local storage.
NinjaFunction's Unix Timestamp Converter turns epoch time into a readable date, and a date into a Unix timestamp, in seconds. It detects seconds, milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds for you, works in any time zone, and shows the current Unix time live. Copy the result as a local date, UTC, ISO 8601 or a relative time such as 3 hours ago. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is sent to a server.
NinjaFunction's Regex Tester lets you write a regular expression and see the result straight away. Matches are highlighted in your text, every match is listed with its position and capture groups, and you can switch flags on and off, try a replacement, or start from a ready example such as an email, date or web address. The page also has a regex cheat sheet. Patterns run in your browser with the JavaScript engine, and a pattern that runs too long is stopped for you, so nothing is sent to a server and the page never freezes.
NinjaFunction's JSON to CSV Converter changes data between JSON and CSV in both directions. Paste or open your data and see the result straight away with the number of rows and columns. Flatten nested objects into columns such as address.city, choose a comma, semicolon, tab or pipe as the separator, turn numbers and true/false into real values, and copy or download the result. Everything runs in your browser, so your data is never uploaded to a server.

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a simple text format for storing and sending data. Most web APIs use it to exchange information between a server and an app, because it is easy for both people and programs to read.
Base64 turns any data, including images and files, into plain text made of letters, numbers and a few symbols. It is used to embed images in HTML or CSS and to send binary data through systems that only accept text. It is an encoding, not encryption, so it does not hide or protect data.
Mock data lets you test and demo an application with realistic-looking information without using real customer data. This keeps personal data private and makes it easy to fill a database or interface with as many records as you need.
