^XA and end with ^XZ.^PW to set label width and ^LL to set label length for accurate sizing.ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) is a text language. Each command starts with a caret (^) and a two-letter code. These are the commands you will use most often:

^XZZPL measures positions and sizes in dots, not inches or millimetres. To convert, multiply the size by your printer's resolution. This editor previews labels at 203 DPI (8 dots per mm), the most common resolution for Zebra printers.
^PW812 and ^LL1218.The preview is a close guide to the final label, but fonts and spacing can look slightly different on a real printer. Do a test print on your own label stock before printing in bulk.

Add ^PW for the width and ^LL for the length near the top of your code, both in dots. The editor reads these values and sets the preview size automatically. At 203 DPI, multiply inches by 203 to get dots.
You can download the label as a PNG, JPG or PDF file, or save the code itself as a .zpl file.
The preview is an approximation. Different printer models use different resolutions and built-in fonts, so spacing and font shapes can vary slightly. Check the printer's DPI, and do a test print before printing a large batch.
