Choose a PDF to split
Drag and drop a file here, or click the button. PDF files up to 80 MB.
Your file stays on your device. It is split in your browser and never uploaded.
NinjaFunction's Split PDF takes a PDF apart in three ways. Extract the pages you pick into one new PDF, split by ranges such as 1-3 and 4-6 so each range becomes its own file, or cut the document into parts of a set number of pages. You see exactly which files you will get before you click. Download them one by one or as a ZIP. Everything is done in your browser, so your PDF is never uploaded to a server.
| You type | Extract pages gives | Split by ranges gives |
|---|---|---|
3 | One PDF with page 3 | One PDF with page 3 |
1-3, 5 | One PDF with pages 1, 2, 3 and 5 | Two PDFs: pages 1-3, and page 5 |
1-4, 5-end | One PDF with every page | Two PDFs: the first four pages, and the rest |
5, 1-3 | One PDF with page 5 first, then 1, 2, 3 | Two PDFs: page 5, and pages 1-3 |
To put files back together, use Merge PDF. To save the pages as pictures, use PDF to Images.
Choose Extract pages, type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 5, 8-end, and click the button. You get one new PDF that contains only those pages, in the order you typed them.
Extract pages puts everything you pick into one PDF. Split by ranges makes a separate PDF for each part you type, so 1-3, 4-6 gives two files. Several files are offered as a ZIP.
Choose Every N pages and leave the number at 1. Each page becomes its own file, and you can download them all together as a ZIP.
The word end stands for the last page, so you do not have to count. For example, 7-end keeps everything from page 7 to the last page.
