NinjaFunction's PDF to Images saves the pages of a PDF as PNG or JPG pictures. Choose all pages or just the ones you need, pick a resolution from 72 to 300 DPI, and see each page appear as it is finished. Download single images or all of them as a ZIP. The pages are drawn in your browser, so your PDF is never uploaded to a server.
A PDF page has a size in points, not pixels. The resolution you choose decides how many pixels each page gets. These are the sizes for a standard A4 page:
| Resolution | Image size (A4) | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 72 DPI | About 595 × 842 pixels | Thumbnails, quick previews, small web images |
| 150 DPI | About 1240 × 1754 pixels | Sharing, slides, reading on screens |
| 300 DPI | About 2480 × 3508 pixels | Printing and zooming in |
The result is a picture, so the text can no longer be selected or searched. After converting, you can cut a picture to size with the Image Cropper or change its format with the Image Converter. To work with the PDF itself, use Split PDF or Merge PDF.
Add your PDF, choose JPG or PNG, pick the pages and a resolution, and click Convert. Each page becomes its own image. You can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
72 DPI gives small images for screens, 150 DPI is a good choice for most uses, and 300 DPI is sharp enough for printing. A higher number makes a bigger image and a bigger file.
Use PNG for pages with text, tables or drawings, because the edges stay crisp. Use JPG when the pages are mostly photos, because the files are much smaller.
Yes. Type the pages in the Pages box, for example 1-3, 5, 8-end. Leave it on all to convert every page. You can convert up to 100 pages at a time.
The size comes from the page size and the resolution. An A4 page is about 595 × 842 points, so at 72 DPI it is about 595 × 842 pixels, and at 300 DPI it is about 2480 × 3508 pixels. Choose a lower resolution for a smaller image.
Not directly. Open it with the password in a PDF viewer, save an unprotected copy, and use that copy here.
No. The pages are drawn in your browser, so your file never leaves your device and nothing is stored after you close the page.
